My Psychology & Behaviour Change Journey
Originally a Montessori Teacher, Alicia ran her own School for five years after which, she moved to the Anna Freud Centre in London where she worked supporting families with young children. She also studied here on the MSc Psychoanalytic Developmental Psychology programme (University College London). She went on to train as an Integrative Psychotherapist and Clinical Hypnotherapist and this was followed by NLP (Neuro-linguistic Programming) trainings with Paul McKenna. She continued to assist him with his renowned changework seminars for over 7 years.
Alicia has run a successful practice in London’s Harley Street for nearly 20 years with a particular interest in ‘behaviour change’, helping both adults and children change unwanted habits and behaviours, overcome anxiety and improve their emotional wellbeing.
Psychotherapy & Mindfulness
She continues to update her skills and knowledge with specialist trainings in psycho-sensory therapies: TFT Thought Field Therapy (Callahan), Havening Techniques. She is also qualified to teach Mindfulness having trained at Oxford University’s Mindfulness Centre.
Best Selling Author
She’s the author of four best-selling books - most notably, ‘Stop Bedwetting in 7 Days’ has been a best-seller since 2009 and is regularly recommended by NHS hospitals in the UK, the Spaarne Gasthuis in Amsterdam as well as paediatricians and doctors all around the world.
Her latest book ‘First Aid for your Child’s Mind’ has also become a global best-seller with foreign rights sold to publishers in Germany, Greece, Hungary, UAE, Vietnam and China (both Simplified and Traditional characters).
Her earlier book 'Fix your Life with NLP' was published by Simon & Schuster with foreign rights sold to Russia and India.
She is also known for her best-selling psychology-based parenting book ‘Words that Work: How to get kids to do almost anything’.
She has written freelance articles for a variety of publications including The Sunday Times, Daily Telegraph, Daily Mail, Daily Express, HuffPost, Reader’s Digest. MyBaba and Mother & Baby magazine. She has provided expert commentary on many occasions for the BBC and Channel 4. Her work is regularly featured in the media including: HELLO! magazine, The Sun, Fox News (US), 9Jumpin’ (Australia).
Workshops & Talks
Alicia also gives wellbeing talks and workshops to organisations, schools and teachers. Recent clients include Wells Fargo Bank, WorkLife Central (formerly CityParents), The Montessori Society and the WI.

Consultations
These can be face-to-face in Harley Street or online video calls on Zoom - distance is no longer a problem and out-of-hours appointments are also available.
Monthly Coaching Options
These sessions are online via Zoom, but you can add an extra face-to-face consultation in London too. You’ll have extra help, regular feedback and up to two calls a week.
Bespoke Support
This service will be tailored to your family’s needs and a package will be created to suit you. This can include foreign travel, home and school visits.
